David Crowley Tribute

Bridgefest’s beloved Parade Coordinator David Crowley was a dedicated volunteer and tireless supporter of our community. David’s kindness, passion, and unwavering commitment, touched the lives of all who had the privilege of knowing him. For years, he selflessly gave his time to countless organizations, always ready to lend a hand to those in need. His contributions were immeasurable, and his presence was a source of information to many.

David’s love for Bridgefest and his role as Parade Coordinator were truly a reflection of his character—a person who was always there for others, working behind the scenes with a smile and a heart full of generosity. His absence leaves a void that will be deeply felt by all who were fortunate enough to work alongside him.

As we gather for Bridgefest in 2025, we will honor David’s legacy with a Grand Parade held in his memory. It will serve as a reminder of the profound impact he made on our community and the love he had for the Bridgefest parade. David was always eager to pack the parade with bands, welcome anyone and anything to participate, and make sure every corner of the event was filled with energy and excitement. His humor and wit were unmatched, and he would love nothing more than to give the City’s DPW and Police Departments a hard time with his “OG” knowledge and quick banter.

The cheers at the start of each year’s parade, the laughter, the camaraderie—those were all part of the magic he created. David’s spirit and joy for the parade were felt by everyone around him. We know he will be with us in spirit as we continue the celebration, he helped make so special, and as we carry forward his legacy with each step of the parade route. He will be missed dearly, but never forgotten.

David Crowley, you will be missed more than words can express. May you rest in peace, and may your memory continue to inspire us all.
